The East Bay Express is delighted to have selected six loving couples to be married by the newspaper on June 25 and July 2. It is our great honor to participate in this historic occasion. Our readers can look forward to seeing photos, stories, and our wedding announcements in the July 9 and 16 issues of the paper.

The Express is treating the couples to an amazing wedding experience. Couples will be chauffeured from the Bancroft Hotel by Angelica Limousines to Emeryville's Periscope Cellars, enjoy a savory spread provided by Cafe de la Paz catering, wedding cake by Chef Ani's Catering, live music performed by Alex Mack and her ensemble, and amazing photographs by Cohn Frankel Photography. Bridal Images in San Francisco is offering a selection of gowns for the brides to be. The White Horse, America's Oldest Gay Bar, will generously host the couples for an after party in Oakland.

The Express will then send the couples to Stevenswood Resort and Spa on the Mendocino Coast for a memorable honeymoon consisting of champagne, couple's massage, horseback riding on the beach, fine dining and more.

It has been a truly wonderful experience bringing Wedding Wednesdays together, and we are proud that California has recognized the right to marriage, and happiness, for all of its citizens.
