| The Texas Observer has been Texas' "Journal of Free
Voices" since 1954. Focusing on Texas news, politics and
culture, the Observer is the state's only source of
independent, progressive journalism. The Observer
consistently publishes the stories that other outlets ignore.
National media like the New York Times, "60 Minutes," and
National Public Radio look to the Observer for regional
stories with national impact.
The Observer features regular columns by former editors
Molly Ivins and Jim Hightower, as well as economic
analyses by James K. Galbraith.
The 32-page Observer is published bi-weekly. |
